Designing a system that could logically represent a wide breadth of content to navigate potential clients or employees in the right direction.

Everise is unlike most companies. They are a technology-enabled outsourcing firm with expertise in evolving customer experiences globally. Some of the world’s most important B2C brands leverage the benefits of the Everise home-based CX model. Their website, however, didn’t reflect what they do and are capable of. Aesthetically it was full of text and graphics that did not do justice to the brand's purpose. There was no structure to the content, heightening confusion rather than coherency.

THE BEGINNING

We started our project by investigating internal (company) and external (users) drivers to consolidate the area of a potential solution, outlining how the website should function. We re-skin their previous website's site map, browsing through their pages and trying to build the information architecture back up with a more pleasant user journey. It was possible to simplify user flows between pages by removing unnecessary pages, merging existing and adding new ones when needed.

WIREFRAMING

Aiming to build a flexible modular system to represent various content, we created various wireframe elements based on the same logic and style with different hierarchies, balancing between images, headlines, and various supporting copy.

IMPLEMENTING THE EVERISE BRAND

Once the website's functionality was set in stone, we moved on to the visual design process. During this phase, we developed digital design guidelines to help the team justify design decisions. We adapted colours and shapes to align with Everise brand guidelines and even came up with a brand new visual treatment for their images. Their previous ways of editing images were rather dated, some may seem too cartoonish and not suitable to reflect the modern, new-gen happy culture theme that Everise is aiming for.

DESIGN TO DEVELOPMENT

The design system we had prepared proved to be useful for the developers. The UI/UX team was part of the development process, providing support and being involved during UAT to ensure that the website is pixel-perfect.
